According to an online report, "American Idol" is planning numerous changes, including no Thursday episodes, no "Idol Gives Back" charity event, and increasing the number of semifinal contestants to 36 from 24.

uhmmm, who cares? The way the economy is going AI is the last thing I really care about. Everyone seems to be taking cutbacks in pay, but instead of AI judges and producers doing the same, they would rather cut off the charitable part of the show and keep all the money for themselves.

I won't be watching this time around. It;s day has come and gone, and there is nothing great about it any longer after Paula gave away the truth that these shows are fixed when she judged a song that hadn't been sung.

Bye, bye, bye... AI!

    Hey, let's have 2 contestants get married and Paula have a baby. Sure fire changes other shows have found to kill their #1 show on TV. Stop messing with a winner.
